Do the Ton Stickers and Gauge Graphics

Matt,

I thought I would post some information I found on line, to go along with your gauge face decals listed here.

First, even though it is right there in front of my face, I did not see your other thread with many more samples of your work....excellent stuff. Everyone should look through this thread:

Second, I see there are some folks wondering how to open the gauges to apply these decals. With a little searching I found a couple articles that document how this is done. So I'll list the links here:

Hope some of this helps others decide to do it.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with (as discussed in our emails).
Thanks, Jeff

Thanks, Jeff. Very much appreciate the cross-links and additional info. Your gauges are turning out to be a very fun project, indeed. I hope you're pleased with the final product!

OK, ladies and gents... I'm about halfway through the stack. Only 20 or so left. Get your orders in. :)

Hey Matt,

I've failed to mention it in our communications about the gauge faces, but I also want some of your DTT stickers added to my order. I'll take three of them, mix and match some black and some white if you have enough. Just include these with my gauge face shipment, once we get that finished. That way I can also send one payment for the total. I'm sure I'll be ordering multiple sets of those gauge faces...they are turning out amazing!

DTT members,

If anyone out there has not looked into Matt's work with custom face decals for your gauges, you are missing out on a fantastic opportunity. He has been able to take my half-baked ideas and transform them into works of art. It's like he knows what I want better than I do! For what it is worth, I tried to get something like this done in the past from someone else (for another project) and it was so bad I trashed it. Therefore I was skeptical about trying it again. But after viewing some of Matt's other work (see his link to another DTT thread), I decided to give him a try. Very glad I did. I'm hoping to talk him into doing some other designs for me next (if I haven't abused his time too much already).

Thanks again Matt for everything.

I want to relay some recent events regarding Matt's gauge decal designs.

After viewing his posts in this forum, I contacted Matt to ask about creating some custom gauge designs. The concepts I had in mind were rather involved and frankly just a mix of thoughts. After exchanging a couple emails, Matt was able to come up with a design that was amazing. Then I had more ideas about modifying the design further, which he was able to do. The truth is that I next tried to push the concept even further which kind of messed up the project. However Matt was very patient and worked through everything to come up with an amazing solution...capturing my concept while making it realistic to work.

I am very grateful to Matt for all of his excellent creativity (and patience) with this project. I suggest everyone should consider contacting him with any ideas you may have. He is great to work with. Thanks again Matt.

My pleasure, Jeff. It's a good feeling being able to help people realize their projects. And, believe it or not, I really enjoy working with people who are particular. There's something very satisfying about being able to deliver on a task that is difficult and/or detailed.

For anyone else who is interested, this is the final product after emailing Jeff back and forth for a few weeks:

I'm happy to take on all types of vinyl decal work and you can rest easily at night knowing that any money you spend with me goes toward more motorcycle parts ;D

1 white one and 15 black ones left. $3 each or $30 takes all of them.
I need these gone, gents, help a brother out. :p
