Drivable scaled Ferrari 312pb

Fingers crossed!!! I started by getting dimensions off the real car from online images then reduced to build scale and drew it out on sheets of luan. If you zoom in you can see the drawing s.

I have kind of forgotten this thing is just a gokart till I took this pic!
Yeah, a gokart on steroids (and maybe some cocaine as well). You are gunna' have to scrunch down a bit for the roll bar to be effective.

When you, as the team owner, start searching for drivers for. your "race team" you have to specify "small of stature." Hmmm, maybe you can find a jockey who'd like to pilot something w/ more than one horsepower. ;)

What is the seat setup made from? You should go overkill and do a snazzy hounds-tooth insert on the seat!! The bang-shift setup is gonna make this thing a lot of fun to take through it's paces

It's no secret that the feed and projects have slowed down overall on DTT over the last few years, but this thread reminds me of the feeling of eagerly awaiting build updates from it's hay day! I'm not on here as much as I used to be, but every time I open it up, I hope to see another amazing update on this thread! I appreciate you sharing, and the work is next level. Every layer you add, I keep thinking "I sure hate that he's covering that up", but then every layer looks as great as the one before!

...what he said!

Deepest admiration, awe, and envy.

I remember those days back in 2007-10 for me here!!! It's funny I hadn't done any real projects since then and this thing has brought all those feelings back! I guess that's a midlife crisis for you!! Thanks for following along! Keeps the motivation up!
