Dual and Single Filament Signals

Sorry for the double post. I didn't realize there was a separate section for electrical questions.
This is a totally noob question, and I feel like an idiot asking it. I meant to order single filament turn signals, but mistakenly ordered dual. Can I just not connect the wire that is meant for the marker lights?

Yes you can, or you can hook them both up to your single wire system and get a brighter light (uses more power, however).

Just make sure you get the ground wires and hot wires correct when you install.
