Evolution of Willow (huge files)

Again thank you all very much for the homage. I greatly appreciate it. Almost sweet sorrow to have her out of the garage now. Its such a fantastic feeling to have her finished but its also kinda sad knowing I won't be going out there tonight to work on her. I almost feel like I did when my boys left the nest, haha. But fellas I can't tell you how good it feels to receive homage from a group of people that I hold in such high regard. Thank you all very much!

Rich I love the photos you took and I don't mind the stamp a bit (ive had countless cameras and vids with em stuck on there, haha) . The time machine quote is very funny! Thank you and everyone else for taking photos that day. If anyone has a favorite from the show I wouldnt mind you post it up here, even though im a dork hehe.

it was nice meeting you and chatting a bit about the bike and the farm....here's an action shot (if i figure out how to post the pic)

what i dont get is this..
fine, get "someones" daughter.. but your friends daughter.. lol i just dont see how all that goes down..

im just trying to imagine the 2 sides of the convo..

whether he suggested it... or you asked... i think the latter might result with a punch to the face..
i would enjoy some back story on it.

What conversation. I bet it just happened out of the blue all natural like. Birds and the bees kinda stuff... Scantily clad women are drawn to Willow like butterflies to a friggin' field of petunias.

Absolutely stunning Troy! I will join in the army to beat you if you change her again.

Out of curiosity, have you thought of putting a timeline/photo set together of the complete evolution of the bike from stocker to cafe to the various bobber forms to Willow? It would awesome to see how much of an evolution Willow really is.

Can't wait to see her at Barber (Hope you are going!)!

They don't call me Dirty Dan for nothin'

Repost for justice.

Oh yeah, I think you have a pretty cool bike too. A bit radical for my tastes, but certainly not something I wouldn't ride.

WOW.... simply perfect man, the lines, the brass accents, the touches the pin stripe work for me just took it to a whole new level! Troy your skills are unreal bud, thank you for taking this site to the next level with your build, it was an honor to watch it take place... fantastic work! simply fantastic!!!

Dude, I can't believe you took saucy pics with your buddy's daughter! They did come out great though. Everyone pretty much said it, but I did want to add one thing: well done on your building success; it could not have happened to a better person. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do to her over the winter :)

What's you're overall project spend?

--Cheers

Joe,
I'm not even sure what to so other than thank you! I have a mountain of respect for the builders on this site and to receive accolades from this is group is unreal. All I can say is thank you!
And yeah when I get a chance I have to do up some video.

Chris,
All I can say is hide your wives and daughters, hahaha. Actually she is aspiring to model and I think she has a good chance. Gotta help a friend out...right?
Anyhow I really appreciate the props brother!
I estimate that between the four builds, 1) Cafe 2) Soft tail bobber, 3) Hardtail bobber, and 4) Willow that I have between $1800-$2200 total. That includes everything purchased, bartered and begged for, all raw materials and the initial 74 cl 360. This does not include labor of course :D :D

I do have a couple more photos...alright, I have a bunch more photos. But here are a couple:

very good looking bike.

how can you ride it with the headlight so close to the tire? seems like a small bump in the road and the headlight is toast, or is the bike not a rider?

Appreciate the kind words fellas

Surffly:
I guess I live dangerously ;D
This was posted earlier. should answer your question

Kidding aside, The space is just under 2" and that's where the suspension ends ( I know it looks closer in the pics). My drive way is 2000' of rough farm lane and the tire's not kissed the light yet... I'll probably raise it a tad though just haven't taken the time. I appreciate your concern.
