Exhaust pipe cross reference? Need SL350 pipes

Is there an exhaust cross-reference list? I know that's one hell of a stab in the dark, but the axle diameter and fork tube diameter lists on our forum are AWESOME. Main problem is that I have a 1971 SL350 that is in need of some headers at the least, full system would be nice. I thought maybe the CB350's might fit in there but haven't really found anything that says yes or no. If anyone has a clue, I'd love to hear it! As always, thanks gents.

Any exhaust from the 350's will work. CB, CL, whatever. Just not the 360's, 450's, etc. As far as the rear hangers, they might be a little different.

Just remembered - don't get an exhaust from a "Type 1" head. They do have different mounts than later 350's.

Oh geez...I'm not even sure what a type 1 head is? I'm used to "larger" bikes, mainly the I-4's. I'll see what he picked up as he said he was getting a set from a guy about 2 hours north of him. I'm thinking he said scrambler pipes...will that cause a problem?

The type 1 heads are from 1968 (and maybe 69?), and the collars are different where they bolt up to the head. Find a parts diagram for the different years - should be able to see the differences.

Oh, then we should be fine. I told him to look for an early 70's 70-72' preferably. So we SHOULD be ok...thanks again for all of the info man. I REALLY appreciate it. My brain is caught up with my own build...
