The schedule is pretty flexible. Weather aside, the reason for choosing the summer is the 14+ hours of daylight. I figure if we plan for 8-hour days, we can hit 12 or 14 hours without totally screwing the schedule. There is, of course, the option of rescheduling out to a five-day trip and giving ourselves longer.

Normally I don't care too much about schedules, but I wanted to give people the option of joining up part-way through. I'm totally open to whatever we want to do.

One more tip on the route, when you get to Goldendale on Highway 14 in Washington, just before the turnoff is the memorial replica of Stonehenge, which is a great photo op as well as a neat bit of history.

It is free and about 30 seconds off of the highway.


Then, when you get back on 14, turn up the hill to Goldendale (long damn hill) then follow route 142 through Klickitat and down to Lyle. It is one of the nicest riding roads you will have the pleasure of finding.

I can do Die-cut cast vinyl. Would last 5-10 yrs. No fading like a printed decal either.
