Float height CB350

I always set float height for CL/CB 350 with round floats at 22mm. I did find info stating that it is 19, 21, or 26 depending on engine number.

#1000001-1045164......19mm
#1045165-1065378......21mm
#1065379 and later.......26mm

What is "engine number"? VIN numbers? My VINs don't match any of these. I have a '71 CB and '72 and '73 CL. Also, the set I'm currently rebuilding had 105 secondary main jets, but kit came with 115. Should I reuse the 105s. Will that affect how it runs (stock set up except for electronic ignition).

Anyone? Still trying to find out correct float height. And does anyone know where the "engine number" is?

the engine number is stamped to the engine. I'm a 2 stroke guy so I never bothered. do an ebay search 'blaster carburetor' and 'pz30' carburetor. I did not see your intake manifold so I put both types.

my understanding of this measurement is that it is a bullshit number and all you have to do is look to see if the metal float arm attached to the float is parallel to the bowl.
