Well, it's the first bike in the stable that isn't vintage. It rides pretty well though. Already planning mods. Alloy tank, anyone?

Congratulations on the new ride! I'd love to have a thruxton, every inch of that bike appeals to me (except maybe the turnsignals ).
And considering the fact that you are obviously able to build BEAUTIFUL bikes, this one should turn out just awesome!

Took a ride with Cafematty, Mysta2 and jachana. Put ~250 miles on the thruxton. It rode great! Got it up to ~105.

Nice! I know the Hinckley twins have their detractors among the vintage crowd but I love my Thrux. A little bit of modding can really drop some serious weight off of it and coax a good bit more power out of the engine. There are some alloy tank builders out there if you've got the coin. Or, if you're up to building one yourself just go ahead and build two and send me one.
