Got me a Ranch...

Druro

Noel... stay outta my profile... wanker.
Well, it took awhile, but I finally found myself the Ranchero. Now, it wasn't the year I wanted, but I decided to compromise (basically,.... there were none of them here....)

What we have here is a 1975 Ford Ranchero GT, modified with a 460 Big Block Ford motor with a C6 slush-bucket behind it. She has maybe 132K miles.... but with these cars, who knows. The body is in fantastic shap, the bumpers are spectacular (awesome re-chroming job), but the interior is meh, and motor is a little beat-up.... but she's mine.

I'm not normally a fan of Rancheros (or any Fords really), but I would drive the hell out of that! Great score man.

Cool!

Unlike mine you might even be able to close the tailgate with a bike in the back. I love the stripes.

Hey Bud,

Actually, haven't even had the chance to try. Might work on the CB...

Of course, she's already down for the count with Ignition issues.... love old cars... :)

And ya, I do live this massive beast.

fix her up! that thing will be fucking mean when shes running nicely. headers, exhaust, some cams... helll, maybe a small blower and you can have one crazy sleeper. would eat newer stangs for breakfast.

That's the plan.... well, mostly. I'm aiming (i think) for big cube's and all motor..... one thing I do want to add is a nice 4 speed.

The only thing I have to work around is the fact that it's probably 1000 lbs heavier then most cars... oh well :p

Can you fit some bikes in the back there?

Yup, one of the main reasons for it :) Wanted something which would be unique, fun as hell, and be useful (haul bikes, drywall, wood, etc). Ironically, it comes with a big enough hitch/motor I could pull another car on a float pretty easily....

Nice I saw somebody in an El Camino with a cb750 in the back, wouldn't doubt it having enough power to tow.

MY GOD! The hood on that thing has to be 10ft long!!!!! It is longer than the bed!!!!

I love the color and the stripe! The body does appear to be in great shape!

Cool score for sure!

Very nice "score" young man!! 8) Nice Ranchero too!! ;) :D :D
