here's a couple pics of the 2 H1's i picked up a couple months ago, the more complete one is a 70 acording to the regitration card, has 11K miles on it, the parts bike is a 73 i have the reg. card for that one as well, the guy that i got them from was told that it ran when parked (but we all know how that goes) it turned out to be the center cyclinder the rings where stuck, it has .060 piston in it, it came with a load of parts, and a spare engine that was partially disasembled, after pulling the cyclinders off i discovered that the Rh side cyclinder had been grooved by the rist pin (i have never seen a piston use very thing flat circlips where kawasaki's known for this? the spare motor that is apart has std bore pistons in it with traditional rounded circlips, luckally i picked up the spare engine for parts because it has 3 good std bore cyclinders, carbs ect...

Cool find! You done good! :D

The complete bike looks like it might be your 70 h1 with a 72 h1b fuel tank. The early h1's (h1, h1a) had the chrome fenders. In 72, the "b" came with fenders painted to match the tank and side covers. Your other frame looks like it has the 72 rear fender on it.

Have fun with it all! 8)

I'm working on a 71 h1a with a h2b 750 engine in it. :D Dontcha just love these things?!?! ;) ;D

we have been getting hit with a pretty good ammount of snow here in the southerntier of NY so i spent the day polishing up the front wheel with a dremel tool, i am planning on running a set of clubmans, a race tail section, a set of rear sets and the denco pipes, a kawasaki dreen tank and seat, nothing too crazy

the 70 tank doesn't look too pretty on the out side but its nice and clean on the inside and the only dents are 2 dime size ones on the top in front of the filler neck so i will prolly end up using that tank and see what i can do about popping the dents back out, i was checking out your thread earlier very cool looking bike

Thank you Sir! :D

Those pipes look like they might be Wirges to me. Maybe you've got a set of Dencos hidden away? ::) ;D

Hey, if you 're not using the seat, rear fender, grab rail, etc, I might be interested in them. I'm looking here north of the boarder (in Ontario) and so far, "no joy"! :p :D

Let me know what you think. :)

Sounds like you have a good plan! 8)

i was wonder if anyone would be able to shine some light on the following parts

i have 2 frames one vin # is KAF-12163 1970 h1?

the other says KAF-62961 1973 h1?

one of the engines is KAE-26523

and the other is KAE-87132

is there any differences between the 70 frame and the 73 frame other then the rear gas tank mount, i just didn't want to hack up the 70 frame if its more desirable then the 73 frame
