Hangout Music Fest in Gulf Shores Al. 60+ bands...

Just a heads up to anyone lookin to have a great time at the beach this summer. The Hangout has sponsored a huge festival on the beach over three days with 3 stages and over 60 bands. It's happening May 14-16. The lineup includes but is not limited to:
Trey Anastasio, Zac Brown Band, John Legend, Ben Harper, The Black Crowes, Alison Kraus and Union Station, Gov't Mule, The Flaming Lips, Ray LaMontagne, Micheal Franti and Spearhead, Rodrigo Y Gabriella (acoustic awesomeness), Matisyahu (Orthadox Jewish Rapper), The Blind Boys of Alabama, Guster, Jerry Jeff Walker, OK Go, The Funky Meters... I'll be there. Twisted probably won't seeing as how he's getting married the next weekend. Anyway if any of y'all are interested in coming down, my wife has the hook-up on condo's and stuff. So am I the only one who thinks this is freakin amazing?!?

In Gulf Shores? Is that a destination now? Last time I was there was in '99. Lots of church groups and stagnant, brown water. Man, my band just got back from a music festival in Gainesville, Fl. Should've applied for this one too.

They're trying to make it one now. We've got a large outdoor amphitheater the next town over (orange beach) and the Hangout has been bringin in bigger acts. Los Lonely Boys were there the other night.
