I think I have everything lined up to go out and race the kz1000 next week. Anyone else interested? I was hoping they would mix things up so I could run against some Harley's but in a reply to my email they said they have metric classes because those punk bitches are afraid of losing! Honest....that's what it said!

10 bucks to race too! If you've never done it nows a good chance to try it out for cheap. If you are at all unsure you can always run time trials and not in the race.

Man that looks like fun! I think that if I pull off Stockbridge then this is probably out, but we'll see.

Tomorrow night is the race. 10 bucks for spectators and 10 bucks to race!!! If all I do is get a couple of runs in I would be happy for 10 bucks. However, I have arranged to work from home tomorrow so I can be at the track when they open. In years past when I did this I could easily get it a dozen time trials before the races start. I need to check my bike over tonight, lube the chain, adjust the clutch, adjust cam chain and take off the mirrors (cuz you know all that wind resisitance is going to affect my time by a few nanoseconds).

Anyone else drag race their old bike? I am stoked to be getting back out there after 2 years off. It's not that I am any good, it's just fun as hell! Although my first year racing I placed second in the Friday night street bike class. Maybe I'll get some of that beginners luck back!

This race was rained out and post poned for Saturday October 5th. Only ten bucks to race! Spectators is 10 bucks too. For ten bucks to race I'd be happy if all I got was a few runs in. I will be up North for a wedding the night before, but should be home in time to go.
Any one else out there race their bike?
