Headlights! (I want one that I can put a gauge in)

I know this is tanks & seats but it seemed most logical to talk about headlights. What headlights are people using?


I am presently looking for a 7 in. headlight with a built in gauge. Or at least one deep enough where i can cut my own hole. Anyone know of a bike that has one of these setups? Been looking on ebay to no avail.

Big Rich - did you have to bondo anything or just cut a hole and popped it in?

It took a little bit of hacking and fitting, but I just used the speedo surround from another bike (that holds the glass). No bonding.

you think a hole saw would be easier than say a jigsaw?

so it looks like the whole gauge cant quite fit in the bucket. It must be hitting the back of the light.

I'm assuming you are talking about mine? It's because I wanted to use my stock gauge (Suzuki) which is a little larger than a Honda unit, and a LOT larger than a digital aftermarket speedo.

i know that a lot of the first generation victory motorcycles had the speedo in the headlight. they look a little big but it might be worth looking into
