Hi there, although traditionally an old VW guy, I have turned my hand to try motorbikes (although I don't have a license, so I am now a scooter guy)! I love the cafe racer style from the 60's so until I have my license and can build something with more grunt I am working on this. Still pretty stock at the moment (upgraded CDI, front gear, carb and jetting) with head work, mud guard removal, bigger tyres and black rims, a new cam and custom exhaust to build. But it puts a smile on my face as I comute to work...so happy days.

Welcome and a 50cc can be a crap ton of fun and that isn't a scooter. It has a clutch and gears so it's just a small displacement motorcycle. I wish we could buy those here as they would be great for a 14 yr old to learn on as you can get a license for 50cc at 14 here but there is only the CVT scooters on the market unless you are lucky enough to find an old DT-50 Yamaha dual sport.

You are so right. It is a crap load of fun! And I am keen to see how much I can squeeze out of the little 50!
