Helping wiring Sparckmoto harness with cb350 switch

eoep

Been Around the Block
Need help with wiring. I have a sprackmoto harness.

Black -Any black wire will have voltage when the main ignition/toggle switch is set to on. This is the same color used in the stock harness.
Red –The thin red wire running through the main trunk of the harness is to activate the starter solenoid. The thicker red wire running through the secondary trunk carries power from the battery to the ignition switch.
Green –These wires should all be grounded. They will eventually link up with the negative terminal of the battery, either directly or via the frame.
Gray –The gray wire carries voltage from the signal relay to the right-hand control assembly for distribution to the left and right turn signals
Yellow –The yellow wire is used to provide power to the brake light.
Pink –The pink wire is acts as the switched ground wire for the horn.
Purple –Oil pressure wire.
Blue –To be used for the right hand turn signal.
Orange –This wire is for the left hand turn signals.
White –This wire carries power from the kill switch to the ignition coils.

my control switch is
Black = Voltage
Red/Yellow = Starter cable
Dark Blue = High beam
White = Low beam
Black/White = Kill switch
Yellow/White = ?
Yellow = ?
Brown/White = ?

Re: Helping wiring Sprackmoto with switch

You should message Matt at Sparck Moto. He has excellent customer service and I've never known him not to walk something through glitches in their install, if they ever have them. As far as helping you here, we need information on what you're wiring. Honda is obvious, but the rest not as much. A guess would possibly be a CB500.

brown/white is your gauge lights. This can be any switched power circuit.
Yellow and yellow/white are regulated power on a CB360 and others. Yellow splits off of the alternator yellow, with one to the headlight control switch and the other to the regulator/rectifier. White to white on the alternator.

Feel free to drop me an email at support@sparckmoto.com and I'll be happy to walk through the details.

For what you have already, the yellow/white, yellow, and brown/white will no longer be used from your controls. Those circuits have been simplified out. The brown/white wire may still have power in some circumstances, so care should be taken to prevent exposed terminals that can cause a short circuit. If the insulation is questionable, some harness tape can be used to prevent metal-to-metal contact.
