these are my first bikes all done within a two year period,, although the superhawk has since flown the coup and gone to live somewhere in toronto ( i regret it now and wish i had kept it ).. i promissed myself i wouldn't turn into one of those guys with way too many toys ,, so i never have more than 2,, one to ride while i'm working on the other and then i sell one of the two and pick up my next project and start all over again..i have been gettin some flack over the choice of tires on the cb 450 but i had wanted to try those firstone champions and now i can say that i have,, next i think i might try a cx 500 if i can find a good one... those wrench monkee inspirations are naggin at my brain... we'll just have to see what i can find to play with...nvp

I love the Superhawk, and wish it was in 'my' part of Toronto. Need to hook me up with your painter. I have a 'baby Dream' CA95 that I need to have painted. It's red now (original paint) but want to go black, or possibly white.

hey tim, i actually painted the tins, tank, and everything else except the frame/chassis which is powder coated... i got the powdercoat done first and then took off a washer that i used to protect some threads,, and took that down to my local automotive paint place and just got the closest match i could find and taught myself to paint by watching youtube video's and practiced by shooting paint thinner through the gun at some cardboard... i attached a shot of my paint booth ( i hung very thick plastic from my garage door frame and made a clean paint booth, and it came out great) all in all it's been a great experience and i've learned a ton ... my MO is i buy a ruff bike in the fall , redo the whole bike every nut and bolt throughout the winter ,, ride it all summer and sell it in the fall.. and start all over again ,, that way i'm always playing in the garage and riding all summer... the cb 450 will be for sale soon , and i'll be doing either a cx 500 or a cb 350.... anyway ...if your ever in the niagra region stop by for a beer... nick
