New member here with a special project, how many have seen a chopped Buell Blast? Here's mine specs are as follows; engine 2001 with a Revolution Performance 515 kit, Zippers pushrod tubes, Maximum Machineworks frame (made for a big twin) 1999 Sportster tank, 6"over springer front end (swap meet special) '88 sportster front rim, Fat Bob rear rim, 2001 Indian Scout oil tank, swap meet solo seat, FLH rear fender, Summit Racing oil relocation kit (modified) and a few hand built bits too numerous to mention. I almost forgot a TC brothers chain conversion set.

Welcome from one Canuck to another (I'm in Toronto / orig from Winnipeg and have spent a lot of time in Edmonton/Calgary).

Fire up a build thread in the Projects area if you feel like documenting the build - sounds like it might already be complete or close to it, but it's always great to see the process. Might even get picked up in a Bike of the Month contest.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'm actually still gathering some bits I need for it but I will be throwing more pics as I go. The bike is presently torn down to figure out how to make the mounts (I'm not using the rubber mounting on this as they tend to make the bike a little squirrely when the rubber starts breaking down.)

Welcome to the forum! I like the Blast chops. The Canadian side of my family goes back to Alberta. It's a goal to get back there and visit the stomping grounds.

Welcome! I had a picture of the mounts required to but a Blast motor in either an Evo Sportster frame or a rigid frame. They were solid mounts. I'll see if I can find it. My Canadian ancestors consisted of the British Colonial Indian Agent and one of his many Mohawk wives. He was a Tory and they went to Canada around 1776. Supposedly he had 350 children, so I imagine I have a lot of Canadian cousins.

Cool. I bet a Blast motor makes for a good little chop power plant.

I'd love to see those mounts if you can find them Rider.

Found! I don't have the dimensions but should be fairly easy to determine once you have the frame and motor in place.
