Ohhh sh.t , i guess i`ve asked this already, sorry!

But it`s very nice to see that she is such a great supporter of our Dutch national footbal/soccer team :)
No worries. I thought someone did..it is deceptive though. It's like a 29.5" seat height still.

Oh is the soccer team black and orange?

Well spring is the time to get bikes ready...

I put on some new shoes. The look great!

Did the valve clearances which were way off and found I was off a tooth on the front cylinder timing (chain tensioner trick) which explained some troubles in jetting earlier so got that fixed up now just need a leaner pilot jets.

I fixed a problem I introduced with the progressive suspension in the front.

Order graphics and number plates decal, and redoing the front number plate. I think I got the dimensions wrong when I made it originally as it never sat well with me. It will be wider and shorter slightly.

Lookin good bro, Looks like it should be sideways on a dirt oval. Can't wait to see the graphics. I usually finish my bikes just in time for snow. I just finished a cafe bike in time for spring. We must be doing something right. Keep up the good work.

Nice. What kind of tires are those?
Shinko.

I originally wasn't after a blocky tire it just ended up being the best bang for buck and the reviews were better than others in that size.

But on they look good and out perform my spitfires so..

Hi HollywoodMX, I must have missed a couple of posts, because now I see both your bikes almost ready to go, i LOVE them

Great job :)

Almost is an illusion.. Lol. The tracker is pretty close tho. The Cafe has a ways to go still realistically speaking.

Well......they ~Look~ almost..................keep building in this speed, love your KZ by the way!
Thanks man. I got like bike "ADD". I keep switching builds... Ya the Kz is pretty bad ass.. when I start giving it more attention which is soon I will post that build thread.

Well I tried various templates for the front number plate part deux and settled on this. It's more pleasing.

Also found my problem with the jetting. Some kind of air leak in the carb. I think it might be the slide rubber seal.

if by slide rubber seal you mean the diaphragm on the top of the slide....you can get new ones from JBM industries for $20/ea. otherwise from yamaha you have to replace the entire slide (if they're even available anymore). I've used probably almost two dozen JBM diaphragms and they've worked out great for me.

Ya both my xv's have FCR's. There is a seal in the second plate of the slide that degrades. How I figured it out was I swapped in another fcr with totally lean jetting but still got it to run better and I forgot FCR's chirp. And the one causing me problems isn't chirping. It used to chirp and now I'm thinking that chirp is from proper vacuum I'm guessing.

So I tried this was a slight difference. Tried a 3rd fcr actually made it worse. I'm thinking now it's the two into 1 manifold and a vacuum leak that starting spray isn't finding. I have some parts of the way to hopefully convert this bike to dual fcr like my Cafe. Hopefully that's it..

I tried a few more tricks and I think its the manifold not sealing. So I will have to figure something out as I have a few options.

In the mean time I FINALLY settled on how to make the front number plate look right.

Just not sure what to do with the front number plate graphics. If I squish the numbers then there is a gap on the right side of the lights that looks weird to me. The other option is to make the second number cut into the headlights themselves. Any ideas are appreciated.

Also I have the new tank and tail graphics! :)

Oh I like the first one. Tell you what I will make a white plate tonight and post it so it's easier to photoshop. The number doesn't have to be 71. I thought the 1 might be the best digit that's identifiable through the lights but after seeing your rendering I think it's worth testing others.
