Hollywoodmx's XV920 Tracker - Quick Build

I'm back. Cast 2 in to 1 manifold broke in half, I never felt the 2-1 divided fuel properly anyways. I tried 2x 40mm air strikers (2T but that didn't work out cause of the difference in vacuum in 2t carbs. So I got 2x TM 38 flats sides. Was way too lean pilots stock. Getting new pilots.

Welcome back
Thanks!

Got the tm 38 flataides installed. Needed major jetting love. Running pretty good. You can see the plug progression. First pilot air screw too rich. Second needle looks good after I changes its position and lastly pilot is rich and now out of jets. Lol.

Good to see you back in action. Bike sounds great ! Finally finished my bike I used 2 FCR40's took me a while to get them right, still need some minor tweaking but good overall.
Great Work ! Look forward to seeing more from you !

Jag! It's like a reunion!

Fcrs are king. But they don't fit nice. What did you you do throttle cable wise? What was your final jetting?

I wanted easy going install on this bike due to limited time piasing around, with the tm38s kit as it was supposed to be plug and play but they were not.

If you look at my build page you can see I made 2 aluminum manifolds also used cam tensioners from a newer virago for clearance still a pretty tight fit.
For my throttle cables I used the pull FCR cable from the throttle to the first carb and then used a cable from push side of the first carb to pull the second carburetor I had to put new ends on the cables, little tricky getting them to work together but it all worked in the end.
Here is my current jetting, both FCR's came of an 06 RMZ450 may still be slightly rich, but runs pretty damn good.
main-148
pilot-40
leak jet -70
needle-EMF (clip #3 position)
mixture screw-2 turns

Ya ok like I had too on my Cafe. I actually just ground down my one tensioner. I'll check your thread.

That's a really unique throttle solution for the carbs, why not just do dual pull?

Thanks for the jetting info when I did my test run I'm definitely richer than that so I will dial my down before I throw gas in them again.
