Honda CB466F Barely Legal Track Bike "Goldie"

No worries at all. The bearing should be a sealed unit, so you would just need a spacer to take the place of the speedometer unit.

Great.. that will work.. and saves me sourcing a new unit as well.

so just an update. about all that's left is dial it in alittle more and keep putting miles on it as the break in continues. After i get some more miles logged, i am going to dyno it and see how she does. Granted all dyno's are different but i would be very happy with anything around 45 and up.

Got her all cleaned up and fired up. Trying to find some time when it's not so cold I can out some more miles on and schedule dyno time.

Wow.. hugely impressive, looks bloody brilliant !

My build is at a hard stage... wiring coming on ok but to stripped cam cover bolts and the seat needs fabricating.. so a bit slow, I'm also waiting on my carbs as these are being fully rebuilt by a specialist!

Absolutely beautiful work, can't wait to see the results of the dyno run. That exhaust looks really good, reminds me of the Yoshima with the equal length, smooth gradual bends. What a nice bike, your attention to the smallest detail is amazing.

Thank you sir! How's your 400 coming along? I'm very happy with the exhaust so far, i do wish the interior welds for the head pipes to the mounting flange were alittle nicer, they are raised enough to annoy me. I'll see how she does on the dyno, i may take a die grinder to them to smooth them out.

Really appreciate the kind words, means alot!

Thank you sir! Hey you're at the top of the hill, get those things done and it's all down hill from there!

God damn, how did I miss this. And I thought I did a black and gold bike justice. Awesome work man.

Got a vid of her running?

Thank you for the kind words! I need to upload some more videos of it running. Here is right after i get it fired up. It's literally first fire. so idle was set high and adjusted the timing chain right after it. Just quick fire.
