Getting closer. All wiring in place now. Tires ordered so gonna get wheels sandblasted and painted this week. Have contacted someoe to make the joiner pipe too between headers and exhaust can too.

Oil tank thankfully fit like a glove! (a tight glove at that...) Just have to mark the holes for the oil line adapters, weld them in and then polish the tank. Should be good to start then

Any thoughts on the oil tank colour? Black or Aluminium?

I'd go black personally, its going to really pop if its polished, and I'm not sure that's a good thing visually.

Yes this is what I m thinking with maybe some silver AN-8 connectors

Fitted the new tires today only to find out the front wheel had a very slight buckle in it
Off to the engineers in January to be straightened! Nice Christmas surprise

Been a while since my last post. Had to get another front wheel.. Problem sorted and finally got tires fitted. Also got the rear sets installed with some mods required. Also got some AN-8 connector hooked up to the oil tank. The oil tank is waiting to be powder coated but everywhere is closed. Welcome your thoughts.. Getting close now to completion.

Won't those zap straps on the header wrap melt off? Maybe you should have used the green ones.

Your bike is going to look sweet one the tins are on, I like the engine paint.

Thanks. I have the proper metal traps fitted to the header now. The red plastic ones were only used until I was sure I had everything in place as it needs to be. Same with the ones at the end of the downpipes.

Been a long time since I posted on this post. After a year of COVID, new house and new baby, it is time to get stuck back in to the project. Over the last 2 weeks I have managed to rebuild the Bandit 600 carbs with a new carb kit and after 3 attempts finally got oil pressure today and at last she has fired up! I will try to get a video up in the next few days. Now time to get a snag list together and finally get this bike on the road!
