Redbird, when I was in HS i was "detained" for doing something similar on the outdoor steps of our local Christian University. ;D

I didn't get a ticket.......but I did get some personal attention from a college sophmore. ;)

what makes you think there was any?

lmfao.

i sprained both my ankles jumping down a story worth of stairs. foot clipped last step.

i pride myself in being extremely fast up and down stairs. lol.

Has anyone not ridden a motorcycle up and down stairs? ( not for several years though ;D)

Jeeeesus... that escaloator thing was hard to watch... seriously bloody stupid. Not saying he deserved to get injured, but what else did the guy reckon was going to happen?

I much prefer the chain surfing type of thing, or this:

How do you stop a unicycle? There is a guy around here that rides one all over the place. Only his is 7 foot tall. I dont even know ow he gets on it. I saw it parked in front of a bar one night. it was leaning against the roof of the place. I would have to agree that both Kileys and Troys driveways are a bit more treacherous than a set of stairs. Maybe if you added some marbles to the stairs you might have a challenge

You need to counter the excess forward momentum of your body, relative to the unicycle, by leaning backwards while you slow the unicycle down. This is usually accompanied by a pivot backwards of the seat-stem and some arm flailing for balance. I've got a uni, but have only been able to ride it in a straight line so far haha.

i cant unicycle very well. tailwhips, 360s... whatever on a bike. but unicycles i just cant get the hang of.

my neighbor rides every day on a unicycle. juggling while walking his dog. its interesting... good friend of mine. hes the only guy who comes into the bicycle shop to buy 36 inch tubes and tires. :D :D
