Wow, that is an 8 hour ride for me, I wonder if I could make it? Love beer and need an excuse for a good ride this fall. Wonder if I can talk a buddy into this ride?

That looks like a nice route. I would have to do freeway to make it in 8 or less but if I could take Friday off I could do a nice ride all day Friday down and then similar home sunday but not sure I could get the day off short notice.

I love taking vicarious trips via Google Maps. Every road that I plotted that on, I have actually ridden, though. It has some highway in it. That is almost unavoidable if you want to get somewhere in any reasonable time, but I don't care for long intervals of interstate unless I need to cover 2,500 miles in 4-5 days.

Haven't done any trips like that in a while. Really Jonesin' for a long road trip of 2-3 weeks.

I'm going to be lucky enough to be staying at a friend's house in Kingston that weekend but not lucky enough to have a finished bike to take up. For 40$ a ticket with over 30 beer vendors, food and live music I couldn't pass it up
