We got the back tire mounted, painted the heat wraps on the pipes, took off the foot pegs and kick-starter, and painted the starter. We're thinking about putting the foot pegs where the shifter is, and it fits both Travis and I. It all turned out great. Now we're waiting on the title to come, then we can pull it all apart.
The bike is looking awesome! 8) ;D
Re: Front Tire Done! Black Bobber 1975 Honda CB500T
that it does! may also want to toss a shield over that wrap. even teh wrap gets hot right there off the header it is going to be warm with your feet right there. hate to see ya burn a pant leg or something... wheels look boss! very trick
Damn that bike looks good. The guy that has mounted the tires wants to see the bike and all he has seen is the wheels. Once we get the title Jenn can pull the engine out of the frame. The swingarm will probably get smoothed and painted soon too.
The bike looks great. It may be the angle of the photos, but it looks to me like it needs to come down in the front another .5". I don't know how much ground clearance you have left at this point though. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the comments Jenn appreciates them. The front end will be lowered another half inch. We dont have a lot of ground clearance but we dont have much travel either.
Not too much new. We went to the neighbors and he made some wheel spacers for the front wheel. Jenn made the brace for the front brake hub. We bought a truck and I have been messing with it so not much has happened to the bikes.
We are using Shinko tires. You can find them on the web. These tires were purchased through http://www.americanclassicmotors.net/ they were only 205 shipped for the pair. The little bit of rolling down the driveway we have done the bike seems to handle fine.
