Now in all seriousness, I don't know who started a voting thread for June BOTM, or why, or when they removed it etc. etc. Last I saw, I was the only one opening Nomination and Voting threads for BOTM.
I appreciate the help of course, and the initiative, but if people are going to take this into their own hands, at least fucking talk to me FIRST. Shit.
So I see there is no voting thread currently. I trust I'm not just not noticing it (check that double negative action) and there really isn't one.
Nominations will close tonight. Sometime later this evening or tomorrow I will start the ONE AND ONLY AND OFFICIAL BINDING NEVER TO BE CONTRADICTED OR CONTESTED VOTING THREAD FOR JUNE BOTM.
Got it? I'm frankly beginning to wonder if this is all worth the effort.
Any and all nominations that have been made by someone other than the owner of the bike, seconded by another non-owner of the bike and subsequently accepted by the owner of the bike will be included in the voting. Owners have the inalienable right to refuse a nomination and/or withdraw from voting. That's their discretion. However, once voting has actually started, I'd like to leave all bikes in the vote and not fuck around with it.
I didn't write the rules for fun. In the past I may have been a bit loose around the whole 'acceptance' part of the nomination, as frankly, I couldn't see why someone wouldn't want to participate if 2 other members felt their bike was worthy. So for the future, we will be more strict about the whole 'nominate / second / accept' process and if any of the three steps are missed, the bike won't be included in that month's voting.
