I tried with some schedule 40 electrical pvc but that didn't work, I'll have to go get some thin wall stuff. How long were the plates you made attaching the light to the brackets?

I honestly cannot remember. I just sold this bike a few weeks ago or else I would've gotten you all the measurements.
