Who can Ride all the way Around Lake Erie, 650+ miles, non stop, on a motorcycle?

Every Year, In June, the "LakeErieLoop" is a "race" held to raise money for Burned Children. Hard to think of a better cause, don't you think?

The "race" is limited to bikes under 250cc, with emphasis on Vintage bike, but we do have a "Touring class" for ANY bike is welcome.

This looks like a hoot. I wonder if we could get a DTT contingent and all of us build 50cc bikes to do it!

Good idea... One of these: with an xr650 motor and some major suspension and wheel/tire upgrades should get the ride done in 12 hours or less.

My best friend in North Ga. and I are going to do this. He's got a 65 Honda S90, and I have a 72 CB100 that hasn't run in 30 years.
Looks like alot of fun and for a good cause.

Check out the website for some good pics and videos.

Just a Reminder that we are only a few weeks away from the 650 mile "small Vintage Bike" race around Lake Erie. If you plan to Attend, visit the web site (www.LakeErieLoop.com) or contact us and let us know.

The cruise control is a great idea randp... those throttles can kill a wrist and the ability to lean back to stretch will help a bunch.

Looks prepared!

haha I have other details to worry about actually lol like putting the bike back together,, ya know the little things

Under 250cc or 250cc and under? I have a 1971 Suzuki T250 which would be perfect for this. One carb?

ANY BIKE Can "do the Loop" so if you got a old bike you want to RIDE, then BRING IT! Unfortunately, we limit the "timed event" to Any bike 200 cc and under, any Vintage bike 210CC and under, or any Vintage Bike 250 and under with one FACTORY carb. We do this simply for safety, to try and keep speeds down. We really cant promote riding a bike 90+ mph on public roads...

But we are getting very close! If you are "thinking" about doing "the Loop" just do it! ANY BIKE is welcome, it is a GREAT DAY RIDE, even on the "big bikes". The Roads in Canada are FANTASTIC! Dont worry about it, we are here raise money for burned children, and to have a great day riding.

So, Bring your Bike, and your passport, June 5th (race starts at 6am on the 6th) to the Clare-Mar Lakes Campground & R V Sales in Ohio, and lets have some fun!

This is amazing! I had a friend who wanted to do this with a friend of his and one of their dads on three restored All State scooters. I don't believe they ever made it, though. Would be a great story at the very least.

One of the events I've wanted to do for a while. I've got a 1966 Honda CA95 (160cc) that is a restoration in process, but I also have my wife's 2011 Suzuki Tu250X which I suppose would qualify, and would be a no-brainer with fuel injection and 90MPG or so.
