London Show

ohhhh.. London ON is far ;D
Im just getting back from CAlgary that weekend... I might have to pass!!

I have a feeling I'd be ultimately dissapointed in the content of the show and possible bargains found for the effort of going all the way to London.

Now if it were nice out and we had an opportunity to ride out with a cage or two to haul our gear back, that would be different ;)

DAMMIT! COUNT ME IN!!! I'll try to bring a posse with me, but who knows. I know I'm supposed to be at a big party that day too, but not until later in the afternoon.

London is a bit of a drive for the TO area members. But, you'll find some decent deals on clothing, hardware, acsessories etc. And the swap meet on Saturday will promise much more than just hog stuff.

Hey, I'll be there. Then again I'm only about 5 mins from the Ag building at the Western Fair.
Don't forget, if you get bored, you can always walk across the street to the Casino!
Also, depending on when you think you'll be here, you can park at my place and we can pile in my van (room for 6 more) and avoid all the parking headaches. Best part is I live just off the 410 at Higbury and Commissioners, so I'd be easier to find than the show anyways!

You mean 401, not 410, right? I'll be there with a bunch of people, possibly even 2 vehiculars. I want to get there early, before everyone starts showing up. Was thinking somewhere around 9 or 9:30. Doors open at 9 on Saturday. Bandit, do you know what kind of parking there is there?

OOPS.
401, not 410, good eye!
There is a ton of parking available and it's free!!
Take a look, the Ag building is the one at the bottom/centre of the picture...
...and the map will get you there from the 401 at Highbury Ave.
A: 401 at Highbury, go North
B: Highbury at Hamilton, turn left
C: Hamilton at Egerton, turn right
D: Egerton at Florence, turn left
E: Western Fair Complex
That's it, if you do get lost you can call me at 519 854-0225 (cell) 519 668-2498 (home) and I'll come and get ya!

I'm close by (St Marys) and looking for a deal on new jacket and pants so I'd like to take in the show.

the london show is usually pretty good. lots of customs. vendors and swap meet. i will be going. Nikki

Now here's a great reason why DTT hats/toques would be a good addition to your store...yes/no?

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
I went tonight, paid my 13 bucks and walked around the show in about 25 minutes!
This show was smaller than last year. There were a few custom show bikes, but if you're coming from Toronto save your money, time and gas, this show sucked big time!!!

It was about 70% Hardly crap. Only Jap thing was some guy selling old manuals and posters for insane prices. Was extremely disappointed with the show, as were the rest of the folks that came with. The only saving grace of the whole show was during the stunt show at 1:00 on Saturday. Some guy on a pretty new honda gave er the beans a little (a LOT) too much and broke the tail off his bike, flipped it upside down and crashed it into the barricade almost hitting people in the crowd and possibly hitting one of the steel "I" beams supporting the roof. My buddy caught it all on video too. I'll try to get it from him and post a youtube link for y'all.
