Honestly everyone...

If you have pics, a story, etc. that you want to submit, by all means send them to filthmachinemag@yahoo.com. I cant promise anyone that their stuff will get used, and right now, I certainly cant pay anything, but if youre cool with doing it for the fuck of doing it I certainly wont stop you! Ill tell you what I really need, is profiles of bands. Small, big, punk, metal, blues, rockabilly, jazz, bluegrass, fuckin' polka for all I care. As long as the band is still active, kickin' ass, and not a bunch of d-bags than Im in. If you know anyone in a band, tell them to send a copy of their stuff to FiltMachineMagazine, 513 Beaver St, Beaver PA, 15009 and Ill be more than happy to review it and sing their prases, be there any prases to be sung! ha ha...
Honestly though, I want this to be a magazine for everyone. Im one person with my own ideas of whats bitchin. I cant make everyone happy. That said, if everyone thinks that their club, or band, or local artist, or local vintage bike shop, or local bar, or t-shirt brand, etc. is fucking awesome, tell me about it! Im only one guy, and though Ill try as hard as I can to cover as much different stuff, I have ZERO budget and a full time job as well as my own bikes to build. If you think its good enough to be in print, let me know, and Ill do what I can to let the world (or the couple of goons that buy the rag ;)) know all about it.

As always, thanks a million everyone. Im doing everything I can to put out one badass rag. Cant wait to share it all with you great folks.

We're recording an album now, but I don't know if it'd be good material for a cafe mag. It's more in the vein of Dr. Dog -- poppy 60's, a little psychedelic.

Anywho, if you need a muzak guy, I'm your guy.

Again fellas, this NOT a cafe magazine. This is NOT a chopper magazine. This is NOT a heavy metal magazine. This is NOT a punk magazine. This is NOT a anything but cool shit, that you guys and gals dig on magazine. If you like it, theres a damn good chance I and others will too, so share it with the rest of the class! ;D

Just ordered a copy Bob. Looks pretty bitchin... Wonder how much of it is just a catalouge though. Must be a good bit to only charge $2.50 a pop.

Von, I'm in for an issue and if you hit me with ad rates I may be in for that as well! My website and shop is days from launching with very cool swag to sell to all and I'd love to support and benefit from the mag!!
 
We're almost done with about half of it. Once I get them mixed, I'll send you something to sample. Could be a few weeks.
 
won't have any material until the spring, need to get some new/different camera equipment from what I've got right now (previously did motorsports stuff with long lenses)

but i'll put some feelers out on Craigslist in my area (Erie/Cleveland/Buffalo) to see if anyone has any cool builds.

Von, what is the name of the magazine? Looked like "Filt Machine" but I just wanted to check.

I'm thinking I would do 1 page blurb on a bike, cage, band, or shop with an eye towards low-buck penny pinchers who build/do cool stuff. If I don't get any bites in the area than I won't worry about it.
