Mak's step-by-step guide to building an un-original, but still fun, cafe bike

My work space is a nightmare. Between my motorcycle projects, my Toys for Watts projects, and all the house repairs I’ve been working on over the last three months i haven’t had time to clean. I wouldn’t have cleaned anyway, but i can at least say at present i wouldn’t have had the time all the same.

I knew one that if you went anywhere near her tail pipe she'd slam the brakes on and throw you over the handle bars.

I've always been told I take things too far ;)
Username checks out ;)

Bikes looking great man, looking forward to seeing it all buttoned up

The amount of swearing involved in those windows was incredible. I spent the last several weeks replacing all but three of the windows in my house. My house was built in the 50's by some guy who'd never built a house. It's sturdy, and strong, and is mostly built correctly, but the damn windows were nailed in place, then half covered up with drywall (made sizing replacements hard), and he put boards all around them in a groove which he also nailed to the exterior framing, and then put enough mortar behind the brickwork to make it impossible to knock the boards loose to get the windows out. I was going to film that whole project but after getting that first one done I realized the entire video would just be me being angry at a guy who died thirty years ago.

And thanks for watching!

My service area is east of the mountains in New Mexico...I hate it. You have to like get way up into the maintains to get away from this crap. I have to go hit Clovis, Hobbs, and Roswell tomorrow and I expect my AC to barely be able to keep up.

My company’s service area is the whole state! And the type of equipment we work on isn’t the kind of thing anyone wants near their homes, so.... Yeah, boonies. Good luck tomorrow

between house projects, Toys for Watts projects (which I'm shamelessly plugging here because I need 50 more subscribers

:D https://www.youtube.com/cha…/UClj2alAwsQlP2i2r7BLPmmA/videos), getting a new foster placement, and then getting sick because this new foster placement came to us with a cold....ughh...I just haven't had time to work on this thing like I have wanted. And I'm SO CLOSE! Today I took the 20 minutes required to tuck the wiring, mount cables, and get some small bits squared away. I am literally two hours labor from riding the thing out of my shop!

lol I've never heard it called a traffic light but I get it....I like the traffic light :p. It's big, bright, lasts forever, and cost $4 to replace if it gets broken!

Finally out under her own power. Still has a punchlist but a lot of it may wait until winter. I've got another one I want to build and I'd like to get some time to just ride this one...
