Maritime's new GL - 2UP Distance eater

Shit really. WTF will you do 4x a day LOL. We're good here as hardware type stores are deemed essential at least for now.

I take it back - they're still open. Mixed messages on their website but damn, thank god. I find myself ambling towards CT even when I'm not sure what I need, come to in the oil and paint section with a violent shudder and buy stuff on autopilot.

Pinesol blue magic and elbow grease and they are good enough.

These were done while spending quality time watching Anne with an E with the wife. Only way I could do it was to have something else to pass the time

If you have some silicone grease, it will ease installation of the boots (that, and warming with a heat gun).

Thanks Pid. I have a question for you, on your 79, how many turns out did you do on the mixture screws? My manual is for 75-76 and it says 1 3/4 for 75 and 2 for 76. I went 2 full turns but need to check my clymer to see what it says. since your bike fired up nice I figured I'd ask you.

Sorry, been sanding and priming and Bondo glazing all day.

2 turns, then if manufactured after December '77, do the "idle drop" procedure. I agree with Randakk that it is an unnecessary emission procedure, and that they should be set afterward for best idle.

Back in with new fuel lines and filter.

Coolant was clear as can be. I drained it into a clean jug and think I can reuse it. Its only a season old. I can top off with the rest of the container I bought to do the last flush and fill.
