Do you still have E's PayPal info in your inbox? That's where you can send it.

Not much time until the big event everyone! We have been very busy getting the "clubhouse" ready for some good camping bike show, riding and cooking out kinda fun here. And I hope everyone enjoys it.

However, I do regret to inform everyone that "the great leap of death" between garage and bar is now closed for the season. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and that people hoping to drunkenly stumble and break bones in this spot will have to look elsewhere.

I have been talking to cxman, and he wanted to see about an alternate route of sorts for the road to the meltdown, that takes some time, sees some sights, and possibly stops for a sit down meal along the way. I will get some points of interest together for that and further details can be explained Friday or Saturday before the event. I will have another group ride going directly to the event on Saturday as well. It will be full of curves, but no planned stops there or back. Think of it as the "express ride."

We hope to see a lot of familiar faces this year, and a LOT of new ones. Bring a tent and a cooler with your favorite brew, or if you are packing light, ask ahead, we still have a couple tents available to use, and toss a few bucks in the beer jar and we will make a run to ensure the suds stays cold.

Garage space is available if you need to do any work or repairs too, as well as ample parking in the field.

Hope to see you there!

We still have the hill of death and a fancy little 2-stroke to kill ourselves on though. That's worth the price of admission.

yup im in for a nice ride a look around lake lure and a stop at that water fall we passed at warp 5

if its a nice day i am more than ok with it taking a few or more hrs to get to hendersonville

and not having to line up at the lunch wagons for a hour

Everyone, we are getting some lists together and I wanted to get some input on beers. Of course we encourage byob, but we also know some of you are traveling light. So, I will be stocking several labels here, any input is appreciated for which ones. And if you are traveling light and cannot bring any, let me know what you like and send a few bucks, I'll make sure to have it cold and waiting on you. We will also have some sodas on hand and the well water is good and cold too. if you want to guarantee a t shirt at the show, make sure to register on the event website. Don't be like me and see the guy ahead of you getting the the last shirt, go register! That grants you inside the fence parking, and entering for drawings as well.

Re: Meltdown 2015: Camp. Drink. Eat. Ride. MENU POSTED!

Ok guys, here's the menu for Meltdown weekend. If you have any allergies or special preferences, please feel free to let me know!
None of this pre-made stuff. I make everything myself.

Friday afternoon during everyone's arrival, I will have homemade chicken salad and tuna salad, as well as deli meats and cheeses, and an assortment of bread and chips for sandwiches.

Friday Dinner: Mexican night! We'll have grilled chicken and beef, wraps, homemade guacamole, my amazing Mexican rice, beans, corn, salsa, chips, etc.

Saturday Breakfast: Farmer's Casserole: Eggs, ham, hash browns, cheese, onions. It's yummmmy. For those of you that attended last year, is that breakfast y'all couldn't get enough of ;)

Saturday Dinner: Burgers, hot dogs, my awesome coleslaw, potato salad, chips, etc... Typical cookout stuffs.

Sunday Breakfast: Farmer's Casserole... and maybe Blueberry French Toast.

:)
