Meltdown 2016: Camp. Drink. Eat. Ride.

Well my Goldwing is still ugly but it's running fairly decent these days. I guess it's about time to set up my tent and make sure it isn't full of holes. I'll also have to figure a way to transport a couple of growlers of beer on the motorcycle. Maybe just have Kristen hold them as we go down the road.

john

i have a trailer hitch for one of those getting ready to jump in the scrap heap

I'm going to try my best to get my new project done (GN400) and get down there. Lucky for me, I'm just 30 minutes away so I'll be there anyway. Might have to bring the SR500 if the GN400 isn't done.

Logan makes growler holders you can strap somewhere on the riding sofa LOL. I can always find a way to carry beer on the GL, always.

Oh, I imagine I'll figure something out. Got a rear trunk I've still got throw on, just been too lazy to do it.

If you're coming by my place for grub and beer, drop me a line with your name and number and I'll add you to the list/headcount :) :)

Don't bring the SR500 (especially if cafe'd)... Then I'll want one even more. Of course a vintage bike festival is really no place for someone with vehicular urges.

Thanks but, I'm good. I'm only 30 minutes or less out. (sounds like a Domino's ad )

It IS cafe'd. But, you may be in luck. It's looking like I will have the GN400 done in time. Then again, I could bring them both. Just be glad my XS650 powered '88 FZ600 project is only in the mock-up stages.

24 days, guys! If you haven't already, make sure you pm me your name and phone number so I can add you to the list for Meltdown camping. You must be on this list if you want to be part of the headcount for FOOD :)
