I'd love someone to help me with some carb issues in milwaukee as well. Tried contacting "moto-scoot" and "the shop" and both places ignored me and never ever had the courtesy to respond back to my requests.

Re: 1975 CB360T Milwaukee

Thanks for the kind words friends.

I have been busy this week with parts coming in almost daily.

Also got my carb rebuild kits, so I made Lime Carb soup last night. I was so eager to get her fired up last night I forgot to put in the diaphragm springs. She did run, but with all sorts of feed back. Once I saw the springs on the bench, I shut it down. Too late, my exhaust already turned blue. Oh well, the exhaust will look just as weathered as the rest of the bike.

I found a factory battery cover and rubber tie down. I can't believe I ran over 100 miles without it, and nothing bad happened.

New clutch cable installed. I did have to take out the adjuster jam nut to get the clutch actuator to sit in the right position. Has anyone else had fitment issues with a new cable? I'm sure it will stretch enough in time to put the nut back on, I just though it was odd.

Also got my new 530 O ring chain, but I haven't put it on yet. My out put shaft is leaking oil, so I'll fix the seal before I put the new chain on. Anyone have any advise on how I can change the seals myself? Special tools needed? Locally "The Shop" said it can be done without pulling the engine. But they are backed up for another month or so with work.

Sorry no pictures, but I haven't really done anything worth seeing. I'm not the first(or last) to pull apart the carbs, so nothing worth seeing(except the crap that came out of each bowl).

Stay tuned for pictures from Road America's Vintage Races this Saturday.
If anyone on here is going, I'll be wearing a blue T shirt with "Mr. Manager" printed on the back. Say hello, I'd love to meet up with some of the cool people that cruise this site.

I'm no expert, but what problems are you having?
I must say after boiling mine out, and putting the rebuild kits in, sounds like a whole different bike.

I though I did mods to your carbs?

that was regarding my cb200 carbs that needed work. I ended up getting them adjusted on my own.

So I have had some great riding weather lately. I had to pull apart my front brake arm to clean it out, and re lube it. I didn't think pictures were necessary, seems we all know this routine.

Today I had to visit the local brewery(take a guess, I live in Milwaukee) for work, so I stopped by the canning machine to swipe some bike parts.

^ Not that hard to make actually. I had the means to get a top unopened from the plant, but I'm sure anyone can empty a beer without using the top. then I just opened up the gas gauge, and cut the sight glass in half with a small coping saw. The sight glass has a flange on it where the screws hold it together, cut the "bubble" off the flange. I used scissors to trim the beer can top to fit. Put it back together, and the vent still works.

Re: 1975 CB360T Milwaukee

That was the first thing my wife tried to do when she saw it. So I filled the void behind the top with silicone. The vent is actually in another piece under the sight glass, so the silicone trick doesn't block it.

Let me know if you ever come back. I can take you up to our corporate pub. It's open everyday from 4:30-7.

Had to register just to comment on this bike.

This has become my "inspiration" for the simple and clean mods I want to do to my 550. I have the identical seat and was looking for options on how to clean up the rear / incorporate a clean taillight and yours is exactly how I am trying to go.

Also showing some Midwest Love!!!

Wow, thanks!

Not much else to report. I'm waiting on a new set of seals for the engine to come in. Then it's time to get dirty, and change the chain. Plus I just picked up an ,89 Hawk that is in worse shape then the CB. Stupid cars are taking up too much room in my garage for these bikes.

Re: 1975 CB360T Milwaukee

Seals came in, so I got to work and changed the chain while I was in there.
