Out
Been Around the Block
Turkey day has come and gone which for many in the northern states denotes a distinct lack of fair weather. In western NY we have seen temperatures in the teens, already had road salt/sand laid down and several snow storms worth plowing the driveway for. I am really feeling the loss of TWT, or two wheel therapy as my wife calls it. I have about 14 bikes as projects to mess with, but nothing replaces actually riding the bike. I look back not long ago at a nice sunny day. Riding down into Pa to one of my favorite roads, Pa's rt 666. Not a joke, very popular with the "other" bikers (HD dig at my buddies, believe me I owe them 100X more), but a great stretch of winding road following a creek. 35 miles from Sheffield to East Hickory with rolling narrow road, tight turns, rocky cliffs and drop offs. I like to just go and run it solo. Time well spent, alone with the machine. So what does anyone else do other than projects and dreaming of spring? I hate to admit it, but it is early in the cold season and i am already bumming.
