We'll I've been riding for awhile know. Ridden and owned many types of motorcycles. Right know I'm working on my Guzzi replacing all the seals, gaskets, and bearings in the transmission and rear end.

Hey and welcome man!
Nice to see another Guzzi Rider on this site. Looks like you're doing a bit more than just the seals for the moment? What model is it? looks like 850T on the side cover but not sure. Post more photos please, it's always nice to see other men's toys....

Greetings from cold Denmark

It's an 850T frame transmission and finally drive. The engine is 1000 convert. Little bit more than just seals. Replacing all the bearings in the trans.

I have an 81 1000SP which have been stripped down and converted into a racer style. It's stock drivetrain except 36mm Dellorto pump carbs and lafranconi competizione exhausts. You can see more by clicking the link in my signature

Re: Moto Guzzi

First of all the new ones were tight as I replaced all seals. So it idles way more smoothly than with the old ones but I could probably have got the same result with new o rings and gaskets on the old ones.

I thonk the 36mm carbs make the engine reving better. The pumps give a little extra but also the straight inlet manifolds add to that. I ran a bit with the bigger carbs and the cone exhausts before I got the lafranconis on. I think the combo of lafranconi and 36mm carbs really made the difference. I had to rejet and also adding anothe atomizer to get the full out of it but its really a different engine than the one I started out with. Pulls better, runs easily to the red line and just feels and sounds more like a race engine than a tourer.

Nice bike btw, like the seat and the cross bar at the rear end where the two horisontal tubes end.

The convert frame will not be spared. But hear in a couple of days I need to look at a gxr 1100 a guy is giving to me. Year is unknown. All I now about is what somebody told me about it. It a just been sitting for awhile.
