My Honda CB360 Cafe Build

lol yea, they got to listen to it all day saturday and sunday, oh well they will get over it haha.

So I decided I wasnt in love with all the fab work ide done, so it was time for redesign again. I needed a pick me up after wasting a whole weekend, so I thew the motor in and bolted in the bottom motor mount, and decided to throw the pipes on and tried to come up with a new sketch.

I have a new tank coming this week, so Im going to throw that on and go from there. I think this subframe flows better with the lines of the bike.

The final design has been modified slightly since that pic, but ill post up as I start putting it all together.

Tank showed up, so I threw it on quick to see how things looked.

I also came up with the new subframe loop design so that I could send it off to have it bent.

Seat loop is done and headed to me. Angles look a little goofy in the pictures, but Im sure it has to do with the angles the pics were taken.

Better mockup

Started hand fabbing the brackets I would need for the clevises. I do not own a table grinder, a plasma, or a table vice, so this took some time as they are all 1/4" steel and all I had was a hand grinder/cutter.

Woah careful there. Dont want to cut off your dink if something goes wrong.

Thats pretty ambitious. I would regret if i did that. There is nothing to gain by cutting the frame up like that. All that work could be used for more important things.
