The bike came with a 4-1 exhaust. The brand is unknown but it sounds good. The plan was to wrap it from the start cause I like the look and it will reduce heat but I think everyone knows that. here are the wrapped pics. Phil out did himself here

Exhaust has been put back on with new hardware. looks really really good. The initial plan was to paint the wheels black along with the oxidized and crappy looking spokes but I decided to put my budget else where. After all the wheels themselves were in pretty good shape.
New wheel bearings were ordered. The 40 year OEM bearings were shot. the wheel just kind flopped around in there so these were in order
Phil also sandblasted the brake assembly and cleaned up the hardware and caliper. the pins were seized and was causing everything to wear uneven but thats all taken care of
both right/left side covers have been ordered a long with new OEM grommets. I also picked up a new OE style clutch handle to match the brake side. As much as I liked the shorty handles from Lossa, making a new MC etc would have been too much for my budget. Until the next update.. thanxx for looking.

now that the bike is a little lower and seems shorter overall we decided to trim the exhaust. took about 6" out of it. Its just tac'd in place here. My brother is being a troll but you get the point.

exhaust was welded up and painted and has been remounted. Super stoked on the whole thing. The knee dents in the tank should be coming soon along with the carb work and then the first putts up and done the road to make sure everything is how it should be for now.

looking epic....... nice wrapped pipes. with the new shocks what bushes did you use on the swing arm end? the originals or did you get new ones?

right now its just stock swing arm bushings.
UPDATE: Carbs have been re-jetted and but back together. The bike fired right up! Phil and I put a few miles on it to make sure everything was how it should be! Im so stoked and its for sure loud but that how I wanted it to be. Id post video but the ones I have a pretty pixelated.

my Oil tank side cover was missing and now with my seat position closer that shit is a little hotter than Id like for my leg. the drive side cover was filled and bondo'd and looked like ass frankly so I ordered up a set of aftermarket Meier covers. Phil fitted these yesterday.
...and today is paint of said covers and seat/cowl section. Its almost completed. Im getting more and more stoked!

so you kinda get the idea. the filler cap will be black with some pin striping on it...just havent decided on the script yet but "Think Twice" sticks out to me.

theyre a little different than stock. theyre a little bigger and you'll have to drill holes and trim to fit properly. They do the job and theyre cheaper than stock. Plus they dont have the recessed inlay for the badge.
I debated so many times on doing away with the side covers over and over and over. I found some possible ideas and solutions with making a smaller box style oil tank and that would require a different battery and money for fab/welding etc. I felt it best to not do right now as much as I love that look on 750s it just seems to be a pain. Plus Id rather put that budget into making sure everything is sound on the bike first. Im trying to keep my build simple and as inexpensive as I can. Im getting there

I would go with 69 chevy white paint with a black rally sport stripe. Just sayin

I came from the Honda road racing and autocross world with my cars so keeping it true to honda spec is something Im trying to hold true too

so super high density foam has been shaped for the Roc City Interceptor. Next is the cover and then the tank paint I do believe. Super stoked on this foam. Its all coming together so awesomely.

so in the mean time Phil was able to get the tank painted with Honda Championship White. the bottom side is a satin/matte black. So stoked on this.
were for sure in the home stretch now! really looking forward to completion.

Thank you, Ill pass the good words on the Phil as well. He's done all the hard work, I just told him what Ive wanted. Were hoping to have the bike finished by this weekend!
