Need Help Finding a Specific Manual

Slantyface

Been Around the Block
Hey guys.
I have a 1978 Honda CB550K. Im looking for a service manual. Clymer has one they say covers the 1974-1978 CB550.
Should I be looking for a manual that covers the 'K' designation specifically? or will the Clymer get me close enough to what I need?
-Thanks

The "k" in Honda models denotes the generation or years where there are changes. Sometimes they'll have a k6 and k7 or whatever in the same year showing changes that have been made making an early and late model for that year... Some go from k0-k7, I don't think there are any k8 models of any honda but I could be wrong.. The cb550k went from k0-k4 and the other model was the f which is the super sport model.

The K in this one is different compared to the 750's.
Main difference is carburettors, couple of engine mods were done in 1975 or 76 to base 550 but just about anything from an early one or F1/F2 will fit.
Chassis was updated slightly but mainly cosmetic
You need factory manual for carb variations, possibly supplements as well?
SOHC4 is best resource, there are some 550 experts who have had them since very early models (1974?)
I didn't have a 550 until 1977, then had several ;D
