Been Around the Block
Hello everybody, I have been checking this site out for a few days and wanted to introduce myself. I just bought a 1973 (but I think it's a '74 since it was made in 11/73??) CB360 with 18K original miles. It's a runner that is all original and never tampered with as far as I can tell, last on the road in 2001. I have lots of plans to cut/chop/paint and I think this forum is just the place to share the build and ask for help!
I will post a few first day pics tomorrow and start a journal.

Cheers,

Scott

Welcome Scott - always nice to have more Canadians on the board (I'm in Toronto, and we do have a good sized Canadian contingent).

We love our pics around here - Photobucket or some photo sharing site is usually best for pasting them into your posts, and the Big Arse Projects area is the place to start your project thread. You've started off with a gem of a bike and there are a lot of people here with lots of know-how on the 360.

So maybe it is a 74 as it seems there was no 73...
I have it down to the frame now and have started grinding/chopping/lopping things off.

Hey, thanks! I am in Miramichi and also from Saint John. Don't know how often I want to go down the highway on this bike, that's what the VFR800A is for ;D

Cool, I have a 79 GL1000 for eating up highway cause it was cheap, VFR800 has been on my bike to own when I can afford one list for a while. I am planning to make a run up your way this summer.

Cheers

Mike

Nice, I bought the VFR new in 2004 at Eldridge's, it was a 2003 leftover. I got it painted last year, here's a couple of pics.

Thats a beauty of a ride. I like the new paint, the lines flow well with the bike and it kind of gives it a bit of a retro feel, like a race rep without the sponser decals, The white wheels work well too.

Good to hear from you. I'm in NS. There is another one from NS on this list now too. Herrdeacon from The Rock ?? Now two from NB. Atlanticade anyone?
