Hopped on DTT this morning and was redirected a bit and it appears we're on a new software?
All black on my end with the header missing, shout box closed up and a few other oddities.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one lol

The look is temporary - will clean things up but yes overnight I migrated to a new server and software.

The chat isn’t working for you?
 
I figured, Xenforo? I like it on another site I'm on seems to work well.

It looks like I should have a (+) somewhere to join a room but I don't see one anywhere. Maybe there aren't any made yet?

I approve... should make the forum so dated feeling and attract some new people with the ability to "Like" and stuff.
 
I like the new look. One feature I use a lot in other forums is the ability to jump to the first unread message, will the new system support something similar?
 
You can select different styles from the bottom left of the page or from your user profile.
 
Thanx for your work, Tim. You've been doing an excellent job of taking care of this happy little bunch of misfits.
 
Do I need to go in and manually re-add my pictures? The old ones hosted on Photobucket are still there but the more recent ones that were posted to the DTT Gallery section aren't showing up.
 
...Gallery might be an issue. Let me see if I can somehow resurrect those.
 
This was a major overhaul, years overdue. DTT was running on borrowed time on an ancient OS that could not be updated. Decided it was time to bite the bullet and make the move to a well supported, commercial platform (Xenforo, same as ADVRider and many others).

Not just a style change - I'm working to bring it back to our lighter colors etc. Full conversion from old software and database to new. Still working out some kinks and certain add-on features like the Gallery are not part of the standard import process.
 
Hi Tim, thanks for all the work you put into the site. Although this new configuration will take a lot of getting used to I think it will be great in the long run.

Just a couple of questions about some things I noticed right away... Will links in signatures come back? Or will we need to re-add those? My logo seems to be missing too?

Also, one thing I really liked about the old DTT was that posted images came up in the chat/conversation/thread rather than a link/attachment. Will this feature be restored as well? I think images make a thread much more interesting and easy to digest - especially if they are right there to view rather than needing to click on them.

Will old threads be resurrected as well? Seems a shame that they get allocated to an 'archive' and don't even come up in searches any longer. There is a lot of good and helpful information in many members long build threads here, even if they have not been commented on for a long time, they still get a lot of visits.

Well done Tim, nice work! I haven't been on here in quite a while (been busy with other bikes but getting back to my CB350 recently) but just got the notification that the site was updated. I know how much work these type projects are so hats off to you for getting it done, all looks great.
