Zuk's Rock!
Hi all, just joined this morning finally, have browsed the odd thread here and there before but that's about it.

I'm a member over on the GS Resources (pete is the handle there) and have been there for years but never managed to get on here until now.

Anyway, I have an '82 Suzuki GS450E that I was original going to cafe until my right wrist buggered up, so instead I'm scrambling it, or attempting to anyway.

I haven't been through the place in any detail yet, but I know there are a few members in common between here and the GSR and I'm particularly keen on following Big Rich's dirty GR650 at the moment, but I'm sure there will be plenty of others for me to drool over as well!

I will at some point get some pic's happening for your entertainment...

Hey Pete! Welcome to the dark side!

Glad you decided to join over here. Hurry up and show off your project! I never get tired of looking at those pipes ya got on your scoot......

Haha cheers Rich! Yeah figured I'd best stick me mug in over here and share the love... or the pic's anway ;)

So, apologies to everyone for the tardiness of this post containing pic's...

Here's where she was nearly ten years ago:

Yep, almost a ten year project, long story... so I'll keep it short :D

Between then and now I've done a frame up, engine rebuild, all that stuff. Painted the frame, swingarm, and all the other goodies with POR 15 Blackcote and put some Bike IT motocross style 'bars on it and made up a new tail piece so I can stick with the stock seat pan. Also adapted a CL360 tail light to fit on the back and a GTR1000 front guard as the rear guard.

I'm currently in the process of working out a front guard and sorting the ignition as the ignitor died (common issue on these 450's).

It's currently looking like this at the moment, no idea what I'm doing with paint yet and the tail piece still needs some refining:

You can clearly see the pipe Rich is talking about there, made by a local mob here in Brissie called Tranzac. They do awesome work :D
