New member with a new project xs750s

Hello everyone. My name is Chris and I just picked up a 79 XS750 Special from a coworker. Ive got plans to turn it into a cafe\brat project bike. The plan is to change the bars, customize the rear frame section, make a homemade seat, custom tail light assembly, and a 3-1 exhaust system. Id like to keep some originality but want something that looks and sounds badass. This is my starting point:
