New option - Site Supporter subscription

Just re-upped. Thanks Tim!

Edit: Man, those yellow squares look foreign after a year!

Yep, just renewed - the BEST use of $10 [ £5.50 ? ] and FOR TWELVE MONTHS.

That's 19 cents a week you other guys ;).................................................

Ah, what the hell.

I only signed up to this site yesterday but I know how much work and what these sites cost to run cos I run two forums of my own.

I am in for 10 bucks as well.

You must get a better exchange rate darn sarf than us poor boys in the north though bc - it's cost me £6.70 mate ;D ;D ;D

It's always harder in the North

Thanks a lot guys - it means a lot. If anyone has any trouble renewing just let me know. I've been trying to cross-reference the PayPal transactions back to the site to ensure everyone's subscriptions are updated properly but it's difficult with some people using different emails on the site vs PayPal etc.

Yeah, I come across much the same problem on my forum too Tim.

It updated mine just fine anyway mate - thankyou :)

Tim, I wanted to do a different amount than the "subscription." There was no opportunity to change the amount sent, so I didn't go through the subscription setup, rather I sent a payment to <admin@dotheton.com> as that seemed to be the address that it was going to. I hope that isn't confusing.

Thanks to everyone who's being so kind to subscribe and support the continued evolution of DTT :) Your contributions will keep the annoying Google-type ads off the site and allow us to continue to add features etc.

There does seem to be some tech glitch with the Paypal interface on some transactions, so if anyone subscribes and encounters an error or isn't changed to Site Supporter with the exclusive DTT Banner graphic on your user profile, let me know.

Hi Tim - Subscription paid, just waiting for change of status to "site supporter" to happen. Does the system do this automatically or their something I have to do in my profile?

Oh it's £6.65 today for UK members that are thinking about contributing.

Scott - got the transaction and updated your status - very much appreciated - thanks for the continued support!

I've been doing my best to make sure everyone is updated - it's not as automagical as it might appear ;) I'm also still in the middle of rebuilding my basement - had to dig up the floors to repair 90 year old clay drain pipes, and my basement is (was) finished. So I'm re-finishing my basement for the 2nd time. Tons of work but it will be better than it was and I won't have to worry about my drain pipes any more.

Yes, just a guesstimate Charlie, JIC anyone here thought it would cost the a WHOLE TEN POUNDS for 12 months rather than the $10.

Even at £10 that would be totally reasonable for the returns and benefits I get, not to mention a whole bunch of new mates across the pond.

I belong to a UK based BMW Forum which is a compulsorary £15 / year and only has about 40 hits a day. Mazda MX5 site [ for my Wife of course ] £30 / year.

I've said this before - but Tim [ and associates ] you are a STAR.

Psssssst, Guess what?

I did it!

stand on your left leg, bare your right nipple and tickle the palm of the other person with your index finger while shaking their hand ;)
