ok i got 1.1 on the red/black wire and nothing on the white/black wire while cranking it

Should be red/black and red/white, not black/white.

Almost. Black/Red and Red/White, as the diagram shows. If i knew how to circle stuff on images, i'd circle the source coil wires for him.

Black with red tracer, Red with white tracer. The order does matter when reading diagrams. (I know Sonreir knows this.)

Also you did the test wrong. Test the wires at the same time, by putting a positive lead on one of the wires and a negative lead on the other. We are checking to see if the coil is making power.

See the part on the diagram that says "magneto"? thats what you're testing. When the magnet on the flywheel passes the coil of wire it creates electricity, just enough to trigger the cdi which then triggers the ignition coil that steps up the power. The two wires I have mentioned are the wires the trigger uses to conduct that signal.

However, one of your test kinda already says we have power there, but i'd still like to see your results when you do the test correctly. A solid foundation is key when dealing with ignition systems.

Yeah so I got it running again ;D

This is bad but it was just the sparkplug... :

But it wont start by kickstart or the el motor, had to take a running start downhill..

But thanks a lot for all the respons! Really good to know its some good help to get here!
