Not brakes, but tires

Therapy is expensive. Riding is cheap. You decide.
OK, I finally got the bike out of the shop, and she runs! Now on to the next project, the tires. The bikes not at my house, it's at my friends garage right now, but I'm looking for tires. Does anyone know the size of the stock tires? I know the rims are 19/3.25 and 18/4.0 but what's the ratio size, i.e. XXX-XX-R18 or R19. Also, any suggestions for a decent priced, but decent performing tire? Looking into Michelin PR2's, anyone have these on?

Are you SURE the rims are 3.25 and 4.00?
That sounds like tyre size.
Rims are normally 1.85 or 2.15 front and 2.15 or 2.50 rear.
You need to look for numbers stamped into rim (the rim is the metal bit the rubber thing called a tyre fits on)

Burn!

Yeah, those metal things say that my tires suck and I need new ones eventually. But yeah, blond moment there with the sizes.

The actual tires really depend on what look your going for.
The shinkos are cheap, some people love them but quality aint great. Think they've been referred to riding on a low quality tire circa early 80's ..
Avon Roadriders are pretty good, I've heard only good things and they aren't too pricey. I havn't had a chance to wear into mine yet.

I know dunlop and bridgestone have some tires people have recommended, look around see what make sense.
