Of Bikes and Watches....

This is what I wear. Mondaine Swiss Railway watch. Sorry, I don't have one good pic of it, but just a few sketchy pics of it...

I recommend it to everyone. I get compliments on it daily :)

I'm a fan of the Seiko Kinetic range, the self charging mechanism is cool.
Here is the style I have

For work I have this

But I wear this one 75% of the time as it's hard wearing and I don't mind damaging it if I'm working in the garage

Hublot. No cf on my bike, but im a carbon junkie on my cars. Wasnt into watches until i got this

My wife says I'm a little obsessive about things...shoes and watches are a couple of them.

These are a few of my babies...I inherited the gold Roller from my grandfather, and the pink faced one is a custom Masterpiece. The monster in Middle is a Hublot F1 King, and the two on the right are my tried and true Bulovas, both over a decade old and by far my most reliable!

And just to give you an idea of HOW BIG the Hublot is...

I've got a few watches myself, I do have to say though that most often I am wearing my citizens. They take to all the abuse and I don't feel horrible if it gets scuffed. My titanium citizen has been through hell and back. Replaced the crystal twice, time piece once and had the band repaired. All issues were from terrible abuse on my part and has for the most part been retired lol. My stainless so far has proven more reliable. In the last couple of years I've not had to do anything...

Now time for the yuppie pics...

Yep, I'm not as fancy as some of you (not because i don't want tons of watches, I'm just usually broke), but I have abused this thing and have had zero issues. Sapphire bezel installed just because, but other than that, it just works.

The oris and tag were family gifts. I'm right there with you Kiley. I love my Citizens and haven't found anything comparable IMO for the price range. Yours looks good btw, that's the style that auto changes time zones based off of radio towers from airports right???

Yep, sure is. It's the Skyhawk 2 stainless. Haven't touched it for daylight savings our time zone changes since I've owned it. Pretty awesome.

It's a watch that uses nixie tubes (like from the sixties in submarines and such) for the display. It alternates every few seconds between the hours and minutes.

That watch would be 1.5" tall on your wrist!

Funny thing.....I was really into watches with my 2 most pricey watches being 2 stainless Rolex oysters. One with an upgraded tapestry face and jubilee band. That is the one watch I kept in my collection, amongst a few much less pricier ones. Then I found this watch deep in a pocket in a blazer, totally forgot about. I got this about 15yrs ago. It's an Allenby tank field watch. Super lightweight, I forget it's on. I'm beginning to like watches again.
