I was very proud of my son for giving credit where credit was due in the interview with Caferacertv. He made several references to DTT and specific members thanking y'all. It upset him that it didn't make it and we want you to know that interview was a testament to who you are as much as who we are...you will never be on our floor and always in our hearts...unless you are drinking moonshine then you may end up on our floor.
Being there and hearing most of the interview I can attest to that. I'm not sure why they decided to cut out all the DTT references, but it was great that you guys (that means y'all) got the recognition that you deserve. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see what comes out of your garage next.
This young man was the highlight of my weekend. He has many virtues. This is what Wikipedia says about Humility : "Modest behavior, selflessness, and the giving of respect.... Reverence for those who have wisdom and those who selflessly teach in love. Giving credit where credit is due; not unfairly glorifying one's own self. Being faithful to promises, no matter how big or small they may be..." Think that about sums it up. He has a full list virtues. Here are a couple: Diligence, patience, Kindness, and this one, Humility. Yep, he's an wesome kid!
Yup, awesome kid.
I said it in the Barber thread, and I'm happy to repeat it here. I had more than one conversation with Zeke about bikes, but the 20 or so minutes I spent talking with him about his bike, about my bike, and about bikes in general, while I was reinstalling my chambers Friday night was one of the highlights of my weekend. I walked away from that conversation telling anyone who would listen what an awesome kid he is.
Zeke, it was my absolute pleasure to meet you and shake your hand Keep up the good work kid
Im so stoked for you Texas. I hope my son (9) has interest in working on bikes likes yours does. I just got him his first little dirt bike a 1999 Ds80. I guess we will see where it'll lead.
