Coast to Coast
I found a thread on another forum that used Pine-Sol as a carb cleaner.... Soo.. I gave it a shot, WOW... They came out fantastic.. Here's the link to the thread.... Best part is, it's safe on all the rubber parts!!

Over on the CB750C forum they swear by it for aluminum, like carbs... But they warn not to use it on steel / iron as it corrodes it quickly.
I find this odd as almost every carb I have seen has steel shafts and screws for the butterflies. Maybe those bits are stainless?

I just did the carbs on a bike I just aquired... no problemo with corrosion. just make sure You rinse/Scrub the carbs in soapy water after the Pine-Sol and rinse again with clean water... then blow them out with air... Mine came out spotless and work fantastic.

Yup, it did a nice job on some grungy PDs from my 650. Cleans the oils right out of your hands too, so I'd wear gloves.

It still didn't clean gunk out of the main and idle jets - that took a proper sized drill bit to deal with, but man it did a number on everything else!
