Finally picked up this one and ended up picking up a second ;D

1965 cl72 with some extra parts. It is in decent shape but had a "restoration" 3 years ago and has some mismatched parts. Going to keep this one and return it to original as possible (most likely)

Second is a 1967(?) Kawasaki A1 samurai, mostly there and original with 1500 miles.. Sweet bike with a nice history. I had an A7SS model before. This one is going up for sale.

Been awhile since I shared some pics but these are too cool. 8)

Did you find those in reponse to your CL add?

at first I misread... thought you said you've beat the hell outta yours for 135 years. I was like, "Damn, that's a good welder." Haha

Mark,
My dad had that same CL72 when he was a teenager, if you ever need to get rid of it hit me up.

Not exciting, but I'm picking this up tomorrow morning. A nearly NOS (maybe 2-3 hours on it) Honda EX1000 generator. Need something smaller at the cabin to charge a battery bank with. My Yamaha 4000w model is overkill for just about everything.

The older models are deadly reliable compared to the new inverter line. While this doesn't product super-clean power, I don't need that to charge batteries and almost everything I'd plug into the power supply runs off a DC power brick anyhow (phone chargers, laptop charger, even the 32" LCD has a DC power brick).

This should match up well to the 950w battery charger I'm getting with a bank of 4 S-550 Rolls batteries and other components to provide power to the cabin for 2-3 days at a stretch. Run the little generator for a few hours every couple of days to top up the batteries and that's that.

Will add solar to the mix at some point, but for now, at least I'm capturing the full output of the generator and have on-demand silent power at 11PM when I flick on a light switch.
